Racer
Key Contributions
Shout! Studios acquired Speed Racer after its license with Crunchyroll expired. The brand campaign was assigned to Lew, and who released Speed Racer for the first time on FAST channels and AVOD, managed event marketing activations, and developed the plans for a new physical home video release with exclusive content.
- Planned and executed integrated marketing campaigns to refresh the Speed Racer Brand
- Managed a Speed Racer: The Movie (1967) screening with Japan Society NYC, and secured an exclusive Q&A with Corrinne Orr (voice of Trixie).
- Planned a low-price Speed Racer: The Complete Collection physical home video set, featuring the original Mach Go Go Go series - never before sold together at a standard price.
- Planned a "Speed Racer" photo opportunity with Peterson Automotive Museum (unused)
- Collaborated with PlutoTV to create highly shareable social media assets in conjunction with the series being available for the very first time on AVOD.
A SUDDEN CASE OF CHRISTMAS
Lew served as the marketing manager for the most highly anticipated holiday movie of the 2024 season. Lew lead the campaign from concept to execution, working with sales to secure an exclusive Hulu deal, and with PR to generate a comprehensive press campaign. The title generated over $6M in Q4 2024, making it one of the highest grossing new release holiday films of the season.
